Congratulations to all three of our concert bands for earning superior ratings at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest last week! Great job, students!

Band Booster Meeting- Tuesday, April 19

Make plans to join us in the L.D. Bell BAND HALL (location change) on Tuesday evening, April 19 for our next Band Booster meeting. We will be voting on the 2022-23 slate of officers for the Band Boosters as well as sharing important information about the 2022 fall season! This is also the meeting where we welcome the families of incoming sophomores to the Blue Raider Band Family! Hope to see you all there!

Spring Concert- April 28- 7 pm

Please join us in the L.D. Bell Auditorium on Thursday evening, April 28, at 7 pm as the L.D. Bell Bands present their Spring Concert. You'll be treated to music by all three concert bands. Admission is free! See you there!

Band Banquet Information- May 7, 2022

Our 2021-22 L.D. Bell Band Banquet is happening Saturday, May 7 at the Embassy Suites DFW North Hotel (near Grapevine Mills Mall). The Band Banquet features a sit-down dinner, presentation of awards, and DJ and dancing! We hope you will all join us for this fun evening! Tickets will be $40 for band students and $55 for guests and/or family members.

Ticket sales will take place in the Band Hall from 4:05-5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 20. Students will sign up for their table assignments when they purchase their ticket(s).

Please make sure that all band fees for the 2021-22 school year have been taken care of. Students will be having the opportunity to purchase Band Banquet tickets the first week of April. Only students with a $0 balance on their Band and/or Winter Guard fees will be able to purchase a Band Banquet ticket. If you have questions about your balance, please check Charms.

Spring Training begins next week!

Spring Training for the Hornline (brass and woodwinds) begins next Tuesday evening in the Activity Center from 6-8 pm. Drumline Spring Training begins next Monday evening with separate days for Snare/Tenors, Bass Drum, and Keyboard Percussion. Please see the images below for more info! Additionally, Color Guard training and auditions will take place next Wednesday and Friday! We are excited to get the ball rolling on the 2022-23 marching season!
