DETAILS: Volunteer Job Descriptions:
Performer Entrance
1. Welcome performers * All performers are expected to be dressed in uniform - don’t allow non performer / non staff or pushers access *
2. Check all staff and volunteers to have a SJVCGPR Staff badge, wrist band, or stamped hand.
3. Allow any CUSD administrators to enter the room with their staff badge.
4. Remind students to watch the center where the bar was removed.
5. Open the doors for upcoming group and close the doors when they have all entered.
Ticket Sales
1. Sell Tickets to spectators
2. Stamp hands as they come in.
Merchandise Sales
1. Sell Merchandise
2. Clearance Merchandise will sell for discounted prices.
3. CEHS will deliver all merchandise and keep inventory.
Performer Exit
1. Open the doors only as performers are exiting.
2. No one is allowed to enter from these doors, only exit doors for the performers.
Student Entry/Exit
1. Only student performers and staff are allowed to enter. *Students/Staff must have a wrist band, hand stamp and/or as SJVCGPR Pass. *No wristband or pass = no entry.
Crossover
1. Will ensure that no one crosses the side of the gyms.
2. If a parent or paid spectator comes to purchase a snack, only with a hand stamp, they can come back over the stanchions.
Spectator Rope
1. Will only allow paid spectators to enter the door. They must have a stamped hand or SJVCGPR staff badge.
Spectator Doors – Entrance Check
1. Open the doors in between shows
Student Judge Assistants
1. Will work with the SJVCGPR staff to help in any way needed.
2. Will ensure judges have drinks and snacks
3. More information to come from Circuit staff
4. Will help set up gym and tear down at the end.
Floaters
1. Will be used in any way needed. From setting up to cleaning, to running errands.
2. They will also be used to cover if any volunteer doesn’t show up or must miss for an emergency. |
